Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the RazGaz apps and services — operated by RAZ GAZ DELIVERIES LTD — collect, what it is used for, who it is shared with, and how to exercise your rights over it.
It covers all three apps — RazGaz Carrier (for couriers), RazGaz (for ordering a delivery) and RazGaz Restaurant (for businesses) — and the dashboard at app.raz-gaz.com. All three run on one system operated by one company, so they have one policy.

What we collect
What is collected depends on which app you use and what you do in it. We do not collect information that the service itself has no use for.
- Identity and contact
- Mobile phone number (it is also how you sign in, by SMS code), name, and an email address where one is required.
- Courier information
- National ID number, vehicle type and registration, employment type, and the documents a courier uploads — ID card or driving licence, tax withholding certificate or Form 101, dealer certificate, and a bank account confirmation. The bank, branch and account numbers and the account holder's name are read off that confirmation and stored, in order to pay you.
- Order information
- Pickup and delivery addresses, floor/apartment/entrance, the recipient's phone number, order items, notes, payment method and amount.
- Location
- The precise location of a courier's device during an open shift, and the location of the delivery address. Set out in full in the next section.
- Camera and images
- Photographs you choose to take or upload — a profile photo, a document, a receipt, an attachment to a support message, and a signature drawn on screen. Camera access is requested only at the moment you take a photograph.
- Notifications
- Your device's push token, so we can send a delivery offer, a status update, or a message from support.
- Technical and diagnostic
- Device model and OS version, app version, crash reports and performance measurements, and app attestation tokens (App Check) used to confirm a request came from a genuine app. The customer app additionally collects install identifiers, to measure where an install came from — see the sharing section.
- Support messages
- The content of support chat messages and any files attached to them.
Location, in detail
Location is the most sensitive information this service touches, so it is set out on its own.
RazGaz Carrier: location is collected only when a courier opens a shift themselves, using the slider on the home screen, and stops when the shift is closed. It is used to offer a delivery to the nearest courier, to show dispatch and the business where a delivery has got to, and to show a customer the courier on the way. On Android it is collected by a foreground service with a persistent notification — the notification is visible for as long as the shift is open — and the app does not request the background location permission. On iOS the "Always" location permission is required, because without it the position freezes the moment the app leaves the screen and dispatch loses a courier mid-delivery.
RazGaz: location is used to find and pin your delivery address on the map. It is collected only while the app is open, never in the background.
RazGaz Restaurant: collects no location.
A courier's location is not handed to a customer or a business as raw data — it is shown as a position on a map during an active delivery — and it is not sold to anyone.
What it is used for
- Running the service
- Matching a delivery to a courier, navigation, order tracking, putting the parties in touch, and support.
- Payment and billing
- Calculating what a courier is paid and what a business or customer is charged, issuing invoices and receipts, and withholding tax where required.
- Security and abuse prevention
- Verifying identity at sign-in, detecting requests that did not come from a genuine app, and checking that permissions in use are sound.
- Reliability
- Finding crashes, measuring response times, and diagnosing a failed route or address.
- Legal obligations
- Keeping accounting records and dealer documents as Israeli tax law requires.
Where it is held
Data is held on Google Cloud servers in the europe-west1 region (Belgium). Some of the providers listed above also process data outside the European Union, including in the United States, under their own transfer arrangements.
How long we keep it
Order, payment and accounting records are kept for as long as Israeli tax law requires — seven years from the end of the tax year.
Shift location points are kept for as long as they are needed to operate the service and settle a dispute about a delivery, and no longer.
A request to delete an account is honoured subject to those retention duties: what the law requires us to keep is kept, and the rest is deleted.
Security
Access is scoped by role. A courier sees only their own deliveries; a business sees only its own orders; identity documents, bank details and tax withholding rates are closed to anyone who is not an authorised administrator — and, for writing, to the subject as well. Traffic is encrypted, and permissions are enforced on the server rather than only on the screen.
No system is proof against everything. If a security incident occurs that requires notification, we will act as the law requires.
Your rights
Under Israel's Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, you may inspect the information held about you, ask for information that is wrong to be corrected, and ask for it to be deleted subject to the retention duties above. Residents of the European Union may also request a portable copy and object to certain processing.

Location, camera and notification permissions can be withdrawn at any time in your device settings. Withdrawing location means a shift cannot be opened, because the service cannot dispatch a courier it cannot see.
Children
The service is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information about children. The courier app is intended for people legally entitled to work and to drive.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when what we do with information changes, and the date at the top will change with it. A material change will also be shown inside the app.
